Como yo le comentaba al propio Marcelo, este “Alquimia”
es un trabajo sólido y de gran calidad. Sería verdaderamente
una lástima que quedara en el anonimato o solo para
ser paladeado en pequeños círculos de amantes de la
buena música.
Como nosotros señalamos con anterioridad, este es un

album completo y sólido.
Básicamente es rock brillantemente fusionado con jazz
urbano, crossover y funk. El trabajo se abre con una balada
emotiva “Ciudad Fantasma” , que entremezcla la contundencia,
(con los estallidos del bajo de Marcelo) y una linea de teclados
muy ochentera. “Mujer” es un track muy hip-hop en donde
los sintetizadores y los loops eróticos de voz, la dotan de
un climax seductor e inequívocamente urbano.

Desde la distancia, “Recoleta” nos acerca al folclor argentino
con emulaciones de bandoneón y un speech cálido y
fascinantemente tangero. Nos gustan mucho otros temas,
como la version que Marcelo hace de un estandard de Marcus
Miller “Eric”. Asi mismo el sensacional “El Negro Pablo”, un
track oscuro con referencias claras a Miles Davis y en el
que destacamos los loops y los arreglos de vibrafono emulado.
Otro tema de interes es “El duelo de Titanes”, que como su
propio nombre indica, es una imaginada y divertida pelea de
bajos .

No lo hacemos habitualmente, pero si os gusta el disco
creo que es justo que lo compremos dar soporte
y ánimos al artista. Desde esta modesto pero orgulloso
blog, seguiremos dando noticias de la actividad creativa y
musical de Marcelo, dandole buena onda para que
continúe componiendo y maravillándonos con su música.

As us we point out previously, this it is a complete album and solid.
Basically it is rock brilliantly fused with jazz
urban, crossover and funk. The work opens up with a ballad
moving “ghost city” that mingles the forcefulness,
(with the explosions of Marcelo's basslines) and one lines of keyboards
very 80,s. “Woman” it is a track very hip-hop where
the synthesizers and the erotic loops of voice, endow it of
a seductive and unequivocally urban climax.

From the distance, “Recoleta” it brings near us to the Argentinean folclor
with bandoneón emulations and a warm speech and
fascinatingly tangero. We like much other topics,
as the version that Marcelo makes of a standard of Marcus
Miller “Eric”. likewise the sensational one “The Black Pablo”, a
dark track with clear references to Miles Davis and in the one
that we highlight the loops and the arrangements of emulated vibrafono.
Another topic of interest is “The bereavement of Titanes” that eat its
own name indicates, it is one imagined and amusing fight of
two basses.

We don't habitually make it, but if you like the disk
I believe that it is fair that we buy it to give support
and spirits to the artist. From this modest but proud
